Agence de la biomedecine

The Agency of Biomedicine in France (Agence de la biomédecine), established in August 2004 by the Bioethics Law, operates in four key areas of human biology and medicine: assisted reproductive technologies, prenatal and genetic diagnosis, embryos and stem cell research, and the procurement and transplant of organs –notably thanks to regulation and support offices– tissues and cells. more  


The State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL) is a public administration body operating in the area of regulation of medicinal products, clinical trials, medical devices, human blood products, human tissues and cells and medicinal cannabis. It was established by the Act on Pharmaceuticals in 1997, however, its history dates back to December 1918, when the first measures were taken by the Czechoslovak government to control the quality of medicines on the market after World War I. more  

The Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO)

The Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) was created in June 1 2013, as a new government agency to take over the supervisory activities of the National Board of Health and Welfare. It is thus The Health and Social Care Inspectorate that supervises health and medical care, social services and services under the Act concerning Support and Service for persons with Certain Functional Impairments. The Inspectorate is also responsible for authorization and permits in these areas. more  

Ministry of Health of Republic of Croatia

Ministry of Health of Republic of Croatia was established 1990 by the government of the Republic of Croatia as state administration body. The mission of the Ministry of Health is the preservation and improvement of health of Croatian citizens, including the protection of public health interests, early recognition of risks from illness, illness prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of patients. more  


The National Institute of Health (ISS) is a public technical and scientific body of the Italian National Health System (NHS), under the control of the Ministry of Health (MoH). ISS major activities include the management and coordination of research activities and it acts as consultant for the MoH, for the government and regions. The Italian National Transplant Centre (CNT) and the Italian National Blood Centre (NBC) are both located at ISS premises. more
